This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials that are listed are some major role players in teaching moderate-need special ed students some life skills that they will need to be successful after high school. There are a lot of teaching materials that will assist the teacher in teaching basic math such as fake money, personal dry-erase boards, and markers. These students will be taught how to keep an area such as their classroom clean so that can transfer over to their living situations. Many of the students that are in the Study Skills class have zero to very little basic living and educational skills. We as special educators get four years to prepare these learners as best as we can.
