Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my fourth-grade class are creative and eager to learn, they are kind and supportive of one another and are always there to lend a helping hand to a classmate in need. As an inner-city school, we have students from all different cultures and backgrounds with one goal in common, to become educated.

My goal is to be able to provide the best tools for remote learning for each student in the comfort of their own homes.

I am fortunate enough to be a stepping stone in each of my student's education. They are filled with joy and eagerness each morning ready to start their remote school days especially during the current Pandemic.

My Project

Due to the Pandemic, my students are restricted to learning through a computer from home! This means they have missed out on many hands on learning experiences that are readily available in a typical classroom environment. My students are engaged and active learners and with the use of manipulatives in their hands I feel they will benefit greatly.

These learning kits, manipulatives and materials will create opportunities to strengthen our math community of virtual and in-person learners!

These new math tools and manipulatives will continue to build their excitement about learning!
