Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing first graders in a dual immersion school. I have both high and low performing students, some even receive additional support academically throughout the week. But, they are all very eager to learn, ready to ask questions every day. It is very positive to see how excited my students are to learn.

These little scholars have a love for school, reading, and learning.

They amaze me every day in class with their questions, behavior, and classwork. I am more than happy to be their teacher this school year.

My Project

These materials will allow me to make a home care package for each of my students in order for them to be ready for their school day through distance learning. Students need to feel comfortable and safe in order for them to be ready to learn and this project will allow me to give some care to each of my students through the creating of these care packages. With our current situation of COVID, I have also included face masks, hand sanitizer, and some small healthy snacks in order to help them start off their learning day.
