Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My little learners are a very inquisitive group of students. These young scholars are discovering the world for the first time. Their curiosity and excitement are contagious, and I love helping them learn. My students love books, listening to stories, music, building puzzles, and being creative. They need lots of encouragement and resources to enhance their learning.
Our school lacks the funds to provide the necessary basic supplies, equipment, technology, books, and parent workshops that our young learners need to succeed in their education.
My students are happy, energetic, and ready to learn. They are learning to become independent learners, and having the right resources can help motivate and engage them. I have to reach them to teach them! These wonderful kids need the opportunity to read lots of books, paint, and sing because it can make a difference in their academic endeavors.
My Project
It’s important to comfort children that are cold and hungry. Safety is a priority because my small learners are not eligible for the the Covid vaccine. But there is more to do in school like learn and play! This preschool program is an inclusive classroom. My classroom family includes students on the spectrum that need constant support and reassurance.
My students are perceptibly more engaged in their learning and play when they feel happy, that includes feeding their basic needs.
Many kids need snacking time, holding a toy for emotional support, and wellness time. I believe comfort snacks include gummy bears, crackers, chocolate, hard candy, applesauce, hydration drinks, and water breaks. Some of my students need socks, and the bags will allow for multiple use. These resources are very important and absolutely necessary. I appreciate your generosity and support.
