My Project

Our school has a large number of homeless/displaced students. They will be away from school for a week in March for Spring Break.

We are looking to create food and hygiene bags to send our students to ensure they have the needed items to keep them clean and fed while away from school and our Community Closet.

The specific items requested, such as food and hygiene items, will make a difference in the learning of homeless high school students by addressing their basic needs and reducing distractions, allowing them to focus better in the classroom. This project aims to provide a supportive environment for these students to thrive academically despite their difficult circumstances. Our students are special because they demonstrate incredible resilience and determination to succeed in their education despite facing homelessness.
