Care Closet Stock Up - 2025

Help me give my students clothes for when there is an emergency and they need a change of clothes.

My Project

With the new school year coming up, our school's care closet can use some clothing items to help kids who need them. We have a diverse population and we want to make sure ALL kids feel like they have what they need in our school so it levels the playing field with all of our populations.

A care closet is run by our family liaison and she is in need of more clothing and hygiene items for kids who need it during the school year.

Kids need to have a back-up in case something happens to their clothing and they need a change at school. Not all parents are able to come to school quickly for these types of emergencies. We also have some kids who do not have the means to get clothing that fits or are in good condition. The popcorn makers are quick cookers for when kids need a snack after school or at lunch. They are quick and can just use kernels without the mess of butter or oil. Easy clean-up is very important as well. Our family liaison helps these kids with some new pants or shirts. Socks are also a big item that is needed throughout the year.

The kids always ask for more in the new year. This will make us ready for the new year! I appreciate you helping us keep stocked up for more time this year.
