We are trying to collect essential items for the care closet to support students in need. The supplies we need are band-aids, q-tips, chapstick and aquaphor.
How Will These Items Make a Difference in Learning?
Band-aids: Provide immediate care for minor injuries, allowing students to stay focused on their learning rather than being distracted by discomfort.
Q-tips: Useful for personal hygiene, promoting a healthy environment, which can boost students' confidence and comfort in the classroom.
Chapstick: Helps prevent chapped lips, especially in dry weather, ensuring students can concentrate without the irritation of dry skin.
Aquaphor: Useful for soothing and healing dry or irritated skin, allowing students to feel comfortable and engaged in their learning activities.
Our students come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives and strengths to our school community. They demonstrate resilience and creativity in overcoming challenges, and providing these essential items helps ensure that their basic needs are met, allowing them to thrive academically and socially. By supporting each other, our students learn the value of compassion and teamwork, which are essential skills both in and out of the classroom.
