This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am honored to work with a student population whose needs extend beyond the expected academic areas. As part of my classroom, I try to provide my students with everything they need to be successful - including food, health, and warmth items. Students cannot learn if they are hungry or uncomfortable, so it is my mission to remove those barriers from their lives.

Please help me add to my classroom care closet so students can have the essentials they need to succeed.

I have included many items such as snacks, quick meals, waterbottles, bandaids, lotion, and chap stick. These are all things that my students need on a daily basis and I hope you will support my mission of keeping each of them fed, warm, and comfortable.
