This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me help my students by making sure they have their health and wellness needs met.

Middle schoolers are in their prime developmental growth stages and I want to ensure that they will be able to have their health and wellness needs met by having deodorant, lotion, sunscreen and a storage cart.

Our school is located in deep east Oakland with little to no shade throughout the day. Our students perspire when learning activities occur in the sun. I want to make sure they are covered with sunblock and will take care of their hygienic needs.
