I teach in an elementary school with combined classrooms. This year I am only teaching second grade, but next year, due to low numbers, they are combining first and second grade again. As a whole, the students in our school are excited to come to school every day, and that makes my job as their teacher just as rewarding as it is fun.
Even though we are a small school, we try our best to provide our students the best education possible.
It is my goal to see that each and every student that enters my classroom leaves at the end of the year having learned all they can.
One of my students' favorite rewards is to write with colored pens -particularly bright colored pens. I chose the Pilot pens as I know they last a long time and are good quality. They'll love them!
The brighter the material, the more engaged my students seem to be!
I feel that if I print a lot of our center activities on brightly colored cardstock, the students will be much more excited about learning. I chose white cardstock as well because that is what I use to print the classroom setup materials such as alphabet cards, rule cards, and calendar center pieces.
