Students in my classroom earn cardinal cash for their positive behaviors in my classroom. Whether they are on task, assisting a peer at their table or participating, I try and reward all positive behaviors throughout the day. Students are responsible for holding onto their cardinal cash unit the end of each month. We have a classroom store at the end of each month. This is where students can turn in their cardinal cash for rewards. My students this year have been engaged and really try their best to earn rewards at my store. I have included in my items above, many prizes my students would love to earn. I am hoping my students leave this year making positive choices in/out of my classroom. I hope they are kind to one another and help each other "just because" it is the right thing to do. I have tried to instill this concept to my students. My students are special because they want to make good choices and they care when others are upset/sad. They check in on one another and that means the world to me, as a teacher.
