Cardboard Engineering in the Art Room

My Project

Incorporating Makedo cardboard-building tools into our art class will unlock a treasure trove of creativity and fun. Imagine students turning plain old cardboard into dazzling 3D creations—transforming it into anything from towering castles to imaginative robots. Makedo are kid safe cardboard cutting and attachment tools. They allow students to create unique shapes and attach pieces of cardboard together without the dangers of sharp edges and hot glue!

Cardboard engineering gives those little hands a workout, improving fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through cutting, folding, and assembling.

Plus, it's a green and budget-friendly option. Using recycled cardboard teaches students about sustainability and the magic of turning "trash" into treasure. Working with cardboard lets kids experiment with shapes and structures in a hands-on way, boosting their spatial thinking and problem-solving skills as they build and design.

Adding Makedo cardboard tools to our art class isn’t just about making cool stuff—it's about sparking imagination, developing essential skills, and having fun while doing it!
