My Project

As a first year teacher, I am building my student library & instructional materials. I have accumulated a few books during college, but my book cases are still fairly empty. Our goal is to encourage students to read as much as possible this year. To encourage comprehension, the post-its will be used for group activities related to the stories.

These books will be available to read anything during Drop Everything and Read (D.E.A.R.) as well as whenever they're finished with their work.

I've made a pretty cozy classroom thus far, but I want to incorporate a variety of texts at different levels for my kiddos. We have students at all reading levels, and I want to bring in valuable texts for everyone to enjoy.
