Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This will be the second year sponsoring the new addition to my school, which is the yearbook. Our first year enlightened me and required me to develop a specific plan for capturing our scholar's moments throughout the year. Anyone who participated in gathering images for the yearbook had to use multiple devices such as their iPhone, Android, iPad, etc. This year my hope is to lighten the load and provide the yearbook staff with a brand new digital camera to capture the lasting memories.

By donating to this project, you will be helping both staff and students by providing a way to capture the school's memories on one standard format without using personal devices.

Students will no longer have to gain permission/access in order to take out their cellphones to capture memories, especially if they are on yearbook staff. The students will no longer have to fear getting their cellular devices taken accidentally. Faculty members can use the camera to capture specific activities in their classroom, just in case other yearbook members are also busy. This will help alleviate everyone from using their personal devices ie their storage, then going through the hassle of uploading every image to a google drive. This new camera will have everything right in one place.
