Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Science of Reading is new to our classroom this year and I lack supplies that will engage my students in learning to read.
The supplies that I am requesting will help my students with blending, segmenting and applying these skills to the decodable texts to build fluency.
All of these hand2mind Little Minds materials will teach/reinforce skills and make reading come to life for my students and engage them in learning. Decodable texts allow for my students to apply the skills they have been practicing and learn science topics as well. I am also asking for book bins so I can organize the decodable books for easy access by my students. These supplies and books would be used daily by my students in small group instruction.
