My Project
The students that attend my school are extraordinary students who love to learn. Many of the students here utilize art as an outlet of expression. By providing our yearbook students an additional camera, we can ensure our students are capturing our year through the eye of a student! The demographics at our school are diverse: Forty-eight percent African American, six percent Hispanic, forty-two percent Caucasian and a total of fifty-six percent are economically disadvantaged. Our students are capable and eager. I’m asking for a digital Cannon Camera. We are currently using Cannon cameras, so the students will be familiar with the setup.
Students participating in yearbook are responsible for being a leader in their classrooms and in the school.
Students practice important skills such as organization, working with others, and time management. We are so excited to have the an additional camera to allow more students to capture the amazing things that happen each day at Harmony Elementary.
