I teach a group of eager third graders at an inspiring elementary school. My kids often start the year reading below the expected grade level. It is my mission to move them to work at grade level and beyond.
My kids internalize the high expectations that I set for them and push themselves to be the best readers and thinkers that they can be.
I am always amazed at the end of the year to see the growth and confidence in each of my kids.
My Project
This year, more so than ever, our students need to be given the opportunity to capture the positive memories. This camera will give me the opportunity to teach my students the art of photography and also how to focus on the positive.
The past three years have been very tough on our kids.
They have missed many school events, spirit opportunities, and social activities due to Covid and the most recent devastation of Hurricane Ida. Your gift of a digital camera will allow me to help focus on the positive things that we have going on at our wonderful school.
