My Students

I teach a curious, enthusiastic group of 7th and 8th grade students in a very unique setting. Situated on over 400 acres, our school has both traditional classrooms and outdoor classroom space. This environment provides opportunities for students express themselves and show their learning in a variety of ways.

My students love to create, and they love to perform.

My Project

Like most middle schoolers, my students love showing their dramatic personalities. The items in this project will give my students the opportunity to create short films. In my English Language Arts classes, I offer my students the opportunity to show their understanding in a variety of ways from essays and posters to songs and plays.

Overwhelmingly, my students love to choose creative options to show their learning!

From a rap summary of Animal Farm to a modernization of the balcony scene in Romeo and Juliet, my students have a limitless imagination to show their understanding.
