This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many times the learning and efforts of my students to help fight climate change go unnoticed by the local community.

This project is intended to both teach video production skills and to create educational and promotional materials that will highlight efforts being undertaken by our students to help combat climate change and mitigate the environmental impact of many common agricultural practices used in our local rural community.

Students will document the use of existing methods like composting and companion planting as well as new and developing technologies like drone monitoring and spraying, ground moisture monitoring, and computer controlled drip irrigation.
