My Project
I am working with both the high school and middle school yearbook staff this year, and our students are excited to take on the challenge of documenting our school's story! However, we are currently working with outdated and limited camera equipment, making it difficult to capture high-quality images for our yearbook.
A new DSLR camera will allow my students to take clear, vibrant photos of school events, sports, performances, and daily life.
Learning how to use a professional camera will also give them valuable photography and journalism skills that they can carry into future careers or hobbies.
With this camera, our students will capture high-resolution photos for the yearbook, learn hands-on photography and composition skills, document school events with professional-quality images, and take ownership of storytelling through photography.
Our yearbooks are more than just a book—they're a historical record of our schools and a cherished keepsake for students and families. By funding this project, you are helping young photographers and journalists preserve memories that will last a lifetime.
