Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

In our computer science class, students dive hands-on into the world of robotics, where building and coding come to life. While they immerse themselves in these innovative projects, capturing their intricate work often becomes a challenge.

Selfie sticks and tripods will transform how students document their robotic creations.

These tools will enable them to record detailed videos and take photographs effortlessly, without disrupting their creative flow. With these devices, students can independently capture the step-by-step evolution of their robots, from a simple sketch to a fully functioning machine.

Providing each group with their own selfie stick and tripod means they can create dynamic time-lapse videos that condense hours of coding and assembly into engaging moments. These visuals are not just a form of reflection but also a compelling way to share their achievements with peers, teachers, and even on social media, inspiring others with the beauty of technology in motion.

Moreover, easy access to these tools encourages students to experiment with different angles and perspectives, enhancing their technical and creative skills. It also fosters a sense of responsibility and independence as they manage how their work is presented and perceived.

By supporting this project, you're not just donating equipment—you're investing in our students' ability to showcase and celebrate their technological prowess and creative spirit.
