My Project
When I used my personal Polaroid camera in class, to complete a thank you package for a fully funded DonorsChoose project, my students were fascinated—amazed to watch a photo develop in real time. That moment inspired this historical project.
With a modern Polaroid camera and film, students will document their surroundings, create personal photo journals, and recreate historic images.They’ll respond to history based prompts connected to lessons and events, blending creativity with critical thinking.
For many, this will be their first access to creative tools like these. Your support helps them become storytellers, historians, and artists through instant photography. I am excited to see how they will tell their unique stories.
