This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of cameras and microphones is a cornerstone to any good Yerd (Yearbook Nerd) classroom. Both pieces of technology will allow my students to hone in on their photography skills to get that perfect shot of the state basketball match. It will also give them an opportunity to brush up on their interview skills to help fill the margins of the Yearbook with memorable statements, questions and moments to be looked back on.

By donating to our project, you will be able to help my dedicated students cultivate a Yearbook that will showcase the amazing community of students and staff at our school.

My students will be able to focus on the content they are creating to place into the pages of the Yearbook, instead of focusing on attempting to navigate the lack of technology we have present at our school. With the requested supplies, they will be able to effectively capture the moments that will be remembered by their peers, and themselves, for years to come.
