Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are full of energy, creativity, and heart. Every day, they build friendships, share laughter, and create unforgettable memories together. These special moments — whether it's a high-five after a team win, a quiet moment of kindness, or a proud classroom achievement — deserve to be captured and remembered. Our students take pride in their school community, and they see the beauty in every day spent with their friends and teachers.
The Yearbook Club will give students the opportunity to preserve these memories while learning valuable skills.
By using Minolta Digital Cameras, they will dive into the world of photography, storytelling, and design. They will learn how to plan, collaborate, and think creatively about how to showcase the spirit of our school. This experience not only nurtures their artistic talents but also strengthens their leadership, teamwork, and communication skills — tools that will serve them both inside and outside of the classroom.
By connecting their love of friendship and school spirit with hands-on learning, the Yearbook Club becomes more than just a project — it becomes a celebration of who they are. Each photo they capture will tell a story of growth, resilience, and community. With your support, our students can create something meaningful and lasting that they, their families, and our entire school can cherish for years to come.
