Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are curious and chatty kindergartners. They love sharing their ideas and working together. Each child brings unique viewpoints-and experiences into my classroom creating a bright, enthusiastic, and eager bunch of smiling students. They love learning with me! I want to make their first year of school the best year! As a teacher I know it is my responsibility to make a difference in their lives and ensure they have what they need to move on to first grade.
My Project
My students love listening to stories! They will get to use the Listening Center to explore books and stories that help fuel their imaginations. My students will get to use the Listening Center in small groups as they listen and follow along to stories that are at their reading level. We can also use the Listening Center Whole Group as we work on different titles in our Curriculum.
Vocabulary will help get them where they need to go!
My students struggle with vocabulary. I have several English Language Learners who will benefit greatly from the multiple meaning words and vocabulary words that come in the Vocabulary kit. They will love listening and following along with these products.
