Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Taking pictures allows students to capture key concepts as they become more actively engaged in the learning process. The films will be used to document students in action and will be posted in our classroom live-action wall which will also help foster a sense of belonging and community.
Students will be able to take pictures of classroom activities, which will serve as effective visual cues when reviewing material, improving memory retention.
Additionally, after taking photos, students can revisit and discuss the images with peers or teachers, facilitating conversation about the subject matter. This can help students articulate their understanding, share ideas, and engage in collaborative learning.
