Reading is an integral part of developing our children as lifelong learners. As a bilingual classroom, the reading material is limited and very expensive to purchase. Thanks to donations and some gifts my students have books available to them. In an effort to expand their reading options, we are now integrating online libraries with tons of new options! I was extremely excited to integrate these programs, but quickly fell short. Students are able to read, but are missing a chunk of the program because they cannot listen to it. This portion is so important to both my students reading below level and those reading above level.
