Help me give my students a camera to record their amazing projects on. We have been using very grainy Chromebook cameras to capture student videos and have struggled with the poor quality. Thank you in advance!!

My Students
My students are very diverse in languages, cultures, beliefs and personal strengths, as more than half of them have come from all over the world. However, nearly 80% receive a free or reduced-price lunch in this SeaTac, WA school.
The challenges many of my students face in-and-out of school make it difficult for them to find their purpose at school.
In engineering designs and computer technology, my students are doing hands-on, real world projects that are rigorous and relevant. Let education push past poverty.
My Project
The Nikon will positively impact students learning by giving them access to higher quality equipment with a better variety of capabilities and the ability to make their work look more professional. Students are creating videos and shooting their own footage, but have only Chromebook cameras to film with. Chromebooks have extremely low camera quality, and have only a front camera, which not only makes it difficult to film, but as a result the camerawork turns out very unprofessional and in some cases causing the films to be hard to understand. Another reason that having a nicer camera would benefit the students education is that they would be able to learn how to work a more professional camera, and have more advanced camera working skills that will be very useful if they need to work with more advanced programs in the future. Being able to learn how to use a camera is not only going to allow students to create higher quality videos and take much nicer photos, but it will also open up more opportunities for the students in the future. They will have knowledge about working a camera that they would not be able to get with the resources we have now. For example, students who may be filming a PSA have to rely on the school laptops as a camera unless they are lucky enough to have a phone with a nice camera. In most cases, people end up using their chromebook due to lack of any nicer resources. If the student had access to a nicer camera, they could develop learning about working a real camera, and their video would look a lot nicer, and be higher quality.
