My school district is a Title l school and I believe the arts play a major role in the development for each and every one of my students. I teach a variety of personalities, abilities, and various skill levels.
They are a close-knit group, unlike any I have ever taught before.
I'm blessed to have such a caring and compassionate group of students that look out for each other and encourage each other to succeed.
In Art class we lack technology, right now my students share my teacher iPad and desktop computer in order to print to the black and white printer in our library. Students constantly request to print and we struggle with this need. It would save valuable classtime if we could print in our classroom and even better if allowed to print on occasion in color.
The students will be shocked to see a printer when they return to school next year.
Can you imagine their delight knowing that others care and listened to their needs?
