My Students
My fifth grade students are vibrant, lovable, and eager to learn as much as possible before entering middle school. They live in an area that is growing rapidly and at times can have limited resources. School is a safe place for these students where they can be loved and respected. Many need the extra support both academically and emotionally. They get lots of love in my classroom!
My students are quick to please and super hard working.
They appreciate any opportunity to do out-of-the-box work and love when technology is incorporated into lessons. My students are appreciative of any small favor extended to them, and that makes it very easy to want to provide them with as much learning and love as possible!
My Project
History and social studies are important subjects for students, but often times this content is labeled "boring." A lack of quality materials can make this problem worse. With a Chromebook, my students will have access to artifacts, articles, interactive videos, museum exhibits, etc. The possibilities are endless! A Chromebook will allow history to come alive and engage students in all the fascinating knowledge the content has to offer.
Many of my students struggle in reading and by giving their reading purpose, it will strengthen their skills.
When students are engaged, they learn more. A Chromebook will increase the learning in my classroom and success for my students!!
