My students need digital cameras and the ability to print in color to display their art work in competitions.

My Students

In the digital age of point and shoot cameras, my students are being left behind.

The students I work with are from a fairly impoverished community.

Resources are severely limited, but their willingness and hunger to learn is apparent. They have a strong sense of community and accept new students in like family. They are able to see the value in learning about other cultures and the world outside of the community.

My Project

Students in the photography enrichment class have used their own equipment and cameras on their phones. Providing the three cameras, memory cards and color printer will allow them to shoot images in different environments with further detail. Students will have enough storage on the memory cards and enough ink to print for the entire year with the replacement cartridges. They will also be able to safely carry the cameras in the cases.

Students are extremely engaged in the elective course with photography and need the equipment to take pictures effectively.

By providing these materials you will be enriching their school and their knowledge of the camera.
