This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am immensely proud of the diversity and passion my students bring to our high school newspaper. Each student journalist has a unique story and perspective that enhances our school community. This project seeks to provide them with the necessary tools to elevate their journalistic pursuits. Reporter's notebooks will be used for taking precise notes during interviews or while covering school events, enabling them to capture details that are essential for accurate reporting.

The SD cards will be invaluable for our digital journalism efforts.

Our students frequently work with digital cameras and audio recorders to capture visual and audio content for their stories. These SD cards will allow them to efficiently store and transfer their multimedia files, which is crucial for meeting our publication deadlines and maintaining the quality of our multimedia content.

Your support will empower our students to continue producing high-quality journalism that informs and engages our school community. It will also enhance their skills in both traditional and digital media, preparing them for future success in any career path they choose. Your contribution will directly impact their ability to report with integrity and creativity, making a lasting difference in their educational journey.
