it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are extremely hard-working kiddos who dream of having equitable opportunities, as seen at neighboring school districts. Recently, a few coaches and I visited a local high school as a professional development opportunity. Not only did we get to see some new football drills, but we also learned how coaches were implementing technology into their football practices. This school used this same GoPro camera and accessories I am asking for. Before practice, we were able to see practice film with their coaches. It was amazing to see how they were able to analyze and coach up their kiddos with different angles, especially the high view from behind. The film looked as if it was being recorded from a drone. Once back on campus, we were able to share the film given to us from our visit with our athletes, and they were amazed at the angles and clarity of the film. This would be a great teaching tool in our program, and it would allow me to film at angles we don't normally see as coaches. This has also created an excitement amongst our athletes. I would love to do this for my kiddos.
