My Students
My students are between 3-4 years old when they begin PreK. They come from many different socio-economic backgrounds. I try to make their first school experience as positive and rewarding as possible. We do many projects during the course of the year so families have many special keepsakes from their child’s year in PreK. We are always inviting parents to join us in the classroom for many different celebrations. The students love to talk about their families and have them join us for fun activities.
My Project
The donations to this project will help improve student attention and focus. Children are more willing to use center materials and activities that are colorful and grab their attention. I want my students to be more excited about learning by providing them with new and creative ways to learn through play! By having a color printer in my classroom I can continuously provide them with fun activities to keep their interest through the year. I can create and print games and activities easily and quickly. My main goal is to help prepare my students to be prepared for and transition to Kindergarten easily.
