My Students

My 22 students are enthusiastic learners who enjoy all the various learning activities of our day. They love to listen to read-alouds, play learning games, write stories, work through centers, participate in lessons, make crafts, and much more! My students work hard to become readers, writers, problem solvers, and scientists throughout the school year.

They are creative, expressive, and always asking thoughtful questions.

They are excited about learning and soak in whatever they read, listen to or watch. My students enjoy exploring new topics with hands-on activities or using scissors and glue to complete a project.

My Project

My students come to school each and every day excited to take on the day and learn. Throughout the day they participate in Morning Meeting, Read-Alouds, assorted lessons, center activities, buddy games, independent work time, and more on our current classroom rug. Our current classroom rug is too cramped to fit all 22 students and the supplies they use for centers and other activities.

With a new, larger rug, my students will be able to spread out in whatever space they need to help them learn best.

The sectioned rug I have selected will help students stay in their personal space when we're all learning together. It will allow ample space for all different types of classroom activities.
