Help me give my students real world biomedical innovations and engineering capstone experiences.

My Project

At our high school, we’re proud to offer a four-year Biomedical and Engineering Pathway where students learn to think critically, solve real-world problems, and bring innovative ideas to life. In their final year, students participate in a Capstone class where they design, prototype, and refine a biomedical innovation or engineering solution addressing a real-world need. It’s the culmination of four years of learning, collaboration, and creativity.

Each spring, these future scientists and engineers present their projects at a showcase event attended by their peers, families, and local professionals from the biomedical and engineering industries.

These professionals and retired educators generously donate their time mid-year to give feedback and return at the end of the year to celebrate our students’ accomplishments.

We aim to instill a strong sense of professionalism in our students—teaching them not only how to present their work but how to do so with the polish expected in professional settings. That’s why we’re requesting durable, reusable tablecloths for our showcase event. These tablecloths will help elevate the presentation experience, reinforcing the importance of professionalism, while also supporting our commitment to sustainability by reducing waste from disposable plastics each year.

Your support will make a lasting impact—not just on one event, but on many showcases to come. Thank you for helping our students shine!
