Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students deserve a chance to get the best education. I will be teaching third grade, up to 25 students at a Title One school in South Carolina. This age group will be energetic, caring, and eager to learn. I know my students will be great children that are willing to try anything to succeed.

My Project

Last year was a challenging year at school. I have been a first-grade teacher for seven years and I am moving to the third grade for the first time. I am excited and want to help my students to succeed in this year’s journey.

Students learn when it is FUN.

Multiplication and division are some of the most important skills that they will need to master. These games will help reinforce the material that I have taught by learning with their friends. The Teacher Pay Teacher gift card will be a quick resource while supporting other teachers and will give me more time with my students.

Also, their reading is growing to a new level. These materials will help with comprehension, vocabulary, and find key details. With social and emotional prompt cards, will give students the opportunity to demonstrate their feelings by writing or getting involved in a conversation with their classmates.
