This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Since coming back to the classroom, students have been yearning for a way to connect with others. Music has been a pathway to that connection, supporting Social Emotional Learning in and out of the building. Our music classes are in need of a quality guitar string that will be easier on new musicians' fingers.
We're still using the same strings from before we left in 2020.
Strings break. The action of the guitar changes. A lighter gauge will make it easier to play without sacrificing the quality of sound. Having enough strings also means having more guitars to play for those who are sharing, restringing those guitars with broken strings.
