My Students
My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges we are facing is providing resources for the students in the classrooms to help with sensory regulation.
My students need noise cancelling headphones to help learn strategies to keep their bodies regulated and provide a strategy to block out noise.
These resources will be provided for students to use while in their classrooms.
My Project
Help me give my students access to noise cancelling headphones. These headphones are used during loud convocations, outside, emergency drills, and other loud times of the day.
Noise cancelling headphones help the students not be overwhelmed during loud activities.
This will help them self-regulate their body as well as not be overstimulated from noise. Theses headphones can be used in a variety of different environments.
Loud areas like the lunchroom or outside may be too over stimulating for some students. These headphones will be available for them to be more independent and participate in areas such as these.
