My Project

One of the most critical foundational skills when learning to read it being able to quickly write and decode basic words. These spelling "paddles" are the PERFECT way for students to practice these skills while making it fun, engaging AND interactive.

Reading and writing dictation is a crucial skill that my K-3 students practice every single day while they get support for weak reading and writing skills and the materials in my project will support this important skill perfectly.

Students will be able to practice the skill through breaking the words apart by sound and writing them on the paddles that they can quickly hold up and show to demonstrate skill acquisition.
