My students need a presentation projector in order to share their learning with others.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My urban high school library serves over 1800 students, most of whom live in conditions we can only imagine, yet still most maintain a positive outlook and have the same dreams for the future as students all over the world.
Many of our students have no home computer and rely on the library for access and spend time before and after school and also give up their lunch breaks to use our limited library resources. With a projector dedicated for their use, they can practice skills that will enhance their education now and in the future.
With a projector, along with instructing large groups of students at once on how to properly fill out applications, do research, write reports and present projects - students can use the projector to view presentations they create for their classmates, too. They can practice speaking and presentation skills that will be used in college and also in future jobs.
With a dedicated projector for the library, students will be able to use it to review projects on their own. Students will be able to use the projector to review and perfect their presentations before they are in front of their classmates.
With your kind donation toward this projector, students will be able to learn how to comfortably make presentations to others and be prepared to use this skill not only in high school, but in college and the workforce, too.
With your thoughtfulness you can help our urban learners become better students who will someday be productive members of our society.
