Help me give my students immediate scaffolding for small group instruction. The write on wipe off easels will provide feedback and information that students can see and easily access while working on individualized assignments.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 2nd graders enrolled in a Spanish Dual Language program. Our community can be categorized as lower to middle class. Students range in age from 7-9 and are learning all of their curriculum in English and Spanish.
I work hard to provide lessons that are engaging and complex.
Mastery of Second grade standards requires much focus and ready access to needed materials. Students need a ready supply to materials in order to attend to lessons and complete assignment.
My Project
Small group instruction allows an important step in young students mastering grade-level standards. Individualized instruction paired with immediate feedback will avert gaps in learning. Each student can be part of three or four different groups. Reading comprehension, grammar, English language development, math and the list goes on. Instruction sometimes requires several sessions covering the same topic. Allowing an easel to hold cooperatively created content until the lesson is completed, or mastered, will be great help in allowing for mastery of standards. Dry erase and magnetic easels make great practice space for young students. With these tools I can provide feedback while we all look at the work they have produced.
