My Students

A typical day in my class is a mixture of laughter and learning.

My school is grades 6 through 8 and has over 650 students.

We are in a suburban area which is slowing becoming more urban every day. I currently teach Language Arts, which allows us to read novels and short stories. I also teach Integrated Language Arts, which covers grammar, writing, and comprehension.

My Project

My students need a projector and speakers to present their PowerPoints and iMovies. My students will use this technology to present their projects and presentations. The projector will also be used to show videos that will help to engage my students in their learning. We currently have no speakers and no projectors and our only technology is an overhead projector.

One of my goals this year is to include technology in our curriculum.

I have done this by having students complete PowerPoints, as well as iMovies. Students will use the projector and speaker to display their projects.
