Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Fearless and determined, the two words that come to mind when describing my students. This group of 6th graders is relentless in their academics, even as they embark on this journey of distance learning. My students thoroughly enjoy the rigorous activities and assignments that are presented through the online format.
Their relentless attitude encourages one another as they fearlessly enter a new way of learning; they deserve the best online platform.
This group of students never stops asking thought-provoking questions and getting the most out of their learning as possible.
My Project
All of my students are participating in distance learning, 5 days a week, for at least the next two months! Digital resources are used to support reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Students are learning digitally now more than ever before.
The document camera will further support our instruction delivery and bring a sense of 'in-class normalcy' back to our virtual learning environment.
Providing a document camera and USB-c hub that is portable, will provide the tools to continue meaningful, engaging lessons that can reach the students when they are learning at home during these tough times.
