Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Teaching brings such joy to my life!
I love being with my students and watching them learn and grow. I am blessed to teach at a school that believe in technology integration but some of the requirements aren't possible for my students. Students are asked to bring in a pair of headphones/ear-buds at the start of every year, for some, this isn't a big deal but for other students this is an additional expense that their parent's can't afford. We have extra headphones in the computer labs but we don't have a surplus for the classrooms where headphones are needed or need to be replaced more frequently.
My Project
These headphones would be made available to my students on a daily basis to use while working on the computer on assigned curriculum, computer based program, or research assignments. These headphones will be used by any student in my room who may need to borrow a pair for the school year. They can be utilized with not only the computers but also with the iPads in our classroom.
These headphones will help all my students be able to work on the computers at the same time without having to struggle to hear the specific directions from their computer.
The students whose headphones break mid-year won't have to worry about the expense of new ones because I will be able to have a pair ready for them to use as needed.
