This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are requestioning ten sets of new headphones to replace the ones that are falling apart, only have sound in one ear or had to throw away. Every week all 450 students in our school use the headphones in our lab. There are bound to be mishaps such as Kindergartners that forget to take off their headphones before they walk away. or sometimes a student chooses to pin in the chair forgetting that by doing so the headphone cord would wrap around them and break.
Our Computer lab headphones get a lot of use and eventually some of them get worn out.
I know each year as the number of computers that have headphones that work get smaller that it is time to request a few, more. Silence is golden, at least from the students, not our headphones. When they are engaged in learning and the room is quiet, you know things are working the way we intended.
