Help me give my students headphones to succeed in their reading program. Headphones with microphones are items that break easily and replacing them is costly. This will help them listen to passages and record themselves reading.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are amazing; however, they come into my intensive reading class believing the total opposite. I implement Read 180 in my class, which focuses on mindset, creating short-term goals, and improving reading skills.
Headphones are a key component to the success of my students in this program.
With these headphones, they will be able to listen to passages, record themselves reading and work on improving their fluency.
I am overjoyed when I see the improvements in their reading and they see it as well...that they can succeed in reading!
