This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Having a speaker system for my students to hear back their voice recordings would allow them to take their English to the next level and be able to hear their expression and intonation during reader's theater and other fluency activities throughout the day.

I work at a Tier I school and my students deserve the best.

They are passionate and hard working kiddos and I want to give them the best instruction and resources possible in order to equip them to be responsible bilingual contributors to the Denver area. They work hard and take school seriously.

My Project

We platoon, so I have 70 students in and out of my classroom on a daily basis. I teach English Language Development and have implemented daily reading, writing, speaking and listening stations. It would really help to have students be able to take their learning a step further and not only practice speaking, but reflect back on their fluency by listening, on these speakers, to their reading ability and learn and grow from there.

Having these speakers would make our stations and overall school day run more smoothly.

We would utilize these speakers primarily for ELD stations and would really appreciate your help in purchasing them. I truly believe that education is the one thing in the world that no one can ever take away and I want to give my students the best education that I can.
