This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"We already knew that kids learned computer technology more easily than adults, It is as if children were waiting all these centuries for someone to invent their native language." Our students use technology more today than ever!In order for our students to get every bit from it, we need headphones!

Our students are very inquisitive students.

We are an inner city school in Texas. We are 98% Hispanic, 1% African American and 1% Anglo. We are a PreK-5 Elementary school. Our students are awesome and hard working. They don't have all the materials necessary to make their learning as rich as it could be.

My Project

When students work in a computer lab or classroom with 24 other students, and the program they are working on is talking to them and teaching them very important information, hearing that information is so important. When they don't have headphones, the noise is chaotic and very distracting for the students. It will make their learning so much better and much more focused which in turn will make them better students.

In this time of digital learning, our students now depend on technology for much of their independent learning.

For this to be good for them, they need to be able to hear all the information that is being provided to them! When there are no headphones, there is so much noise that it makes it difficult for the students to concentrate and focus on their learning.
