My Project

I work in a small rural school district of less than 800 pre-k through 12th grade students. Our community is a low economic area, with over 70% of our students on free or reduced lunches. We are lucky enough to have Chromebooks for our students, but with them traveling with the students from year to year they wear out quickly as well as their headphones. The regular headphone ports have broken off in the Chromebooks so USB headphones are necessary to keep using the Chromebooks we have. Headphones play such an important role in creating an inclusive and effective learning environment. Headphones allow students to centralize their focus and actively engage in audio-based learning activities and programs. Your generous donations will make such a significant impact on the education of my students' ability to fully utilize their computer programs as well as state testing.
